‘Birdsong’ Exhibition Update

‘Birdsong’ Exhibition Update

‘BirdSong’ inspired artwork is starting to roll in for Sunday 13th November’s art opening featuring charismatic local John Reeve. You can read more about John at bankhouseoriginals.com gallery page. The official opening will commence @2pm with refreshments and nibbles provided. Although we will be open all day.

In addition to John Reeve you will also be delighted by work from Angela Bettess, Susie Marcroft, Nicole Heckel, Mic Eales and Marion Arent. I am also very excited to be introducing to BankHouse Gallery; Leonie Lane with her storytelling through digital prints, John Stewart ceramics, Caroline Ainsworth’s figurative clay sculpture and Stacey Conridge, oil on canvas.

There really is far too much talent here in one place to write a simple newsletter; it would need to be a thesis. So please come along and support this collection of superbly diverse regional creatives, we need to celebrate them all, we need to keep the artists in our beautiful country alive and flourishing.

My focus on birds has been enhanced by the most amazing Spring nesting season, a constant chorus of birdsong echoing through the hills of Mallanganee and for those who know the BankHouse we have a very large lily Pilli hedge which seems to constantly quiver; on closer inspection little wren heads and other little birds popping in and out, providing perfect protection and shelter for their nests. This leaves me with the feeling the BankHouse is coming of age, as is the hedge.

This opening is also an opportunity to see the festive season in with friends and family in an inspirational environment, surrounded by extremely beautiful original gift ideas or the perfect gift to yourself.

Please feel free to share this with your friends as an invitation.
