Wendy McGain – ARTIST

Wendy McGain is a locally well-known professional artist, and has been represented in many art exhibitions in the Northern Rivers of NSW. Wendy is currently the president of the Kyogle & District Arts Council which supports visual and performing arts in the region.

Biographical note;

“l have painted and exhibited in the Northern Rivers for 35 years. During that time l have organised art exhibitions, run painting & drawing workshops, managed a studio framing business and been part of Kyogle art community activities.

My work ranges from detailed collage to colorful semi-abstract expressionism. Landscape is a strong theme and outdoor sketches are often used as references for the studio paintings.

l studied in Melbourne, Victoria at RMIT and have a Diploma of Fine Art in painting.”
